Mirage: Mexico/Texas, overhead projector, metal taboret, ink on polyester film, map pencils on cotton paper, salvaged plywood, elastic straps
Mirage is a series of works inspired by travels to Far West Texas. Images of natural and man-made features of this desert landscape are filtered through devices as a form of mediation.
This intervention between viewer and image is intended to pose questions to the audience regarding historical and contemporary issues inherent to the region.
